PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Dual-Lens Technology from Leica: 1-inch 8K Sensor & Exclusive Telephoto Lens

The Insta360 Luna Ultra is a handheld camera that is incredibly small and light in weight and has a dual-lens optical arrangement created in collaboration with Leica. The main lens camera has a long 1-inch CMOS sensor and a Leica Summicron lens with wide-angle capabilities, and is able to record 8K @ 30fps video in Dolby Vision format with remarkable performance in low-light conditions. Next to the main lens, there is another lens job by a specific 1/1.3-inch camera and having a 60mm telephoto lens that allows for performing optical zooming of almost 6 times (15 times hybrid zoom) while capturing videos from long distance, for instance, interviews, wildlife shooting, etc.

2-Inch OLED Touchscreen and Remote Control at a Distance of 20m

Luna Ultra has an innovative detachable 2.0-inch OLED touchscreen that liberates it from the limitations of fixed-screen pocket cameras. The display is separated from the gimbal handle by means of magnets and can transmit low-latency HD video signals within 20 meters (65 ft). One can use a tripod or mount it in a car for framing, keeping track of the subject and regulating exposure using the palm of his/her hand.

Architecture of the Triple AI Chip and Deep Track 5.0

The processing is managed by a Triple AI Chip System—utilising two expert DSP chips for imaging and a Qualcomm AI processor built with 4nm technology. This infrastructure allows for the implementation of Deep Track 5.0, which is responsible for gaining active subject-tracking during speedy sports activities, as well as with moving groups and optical zoom changes. The system is especially suited for work in low-light conditions due to PureVideo technology, which enables shooting 4K video at 60fps and makes adjustments to digital noise and dynamic range, rendering images in detail. In regard to colour, there is the use of the 10-bit I-Log profile that uses up to 14 stops of dynamic range.
